Kyle Zasky
CEO
Kyle Zasky brings more than three decades of experience building and scaling technology-driven businesses across investment management, wealth technology, and capital markets.
Prior to VRGL, Kyle served as CEO of LayerOne Financial, a mission-critical platform supporting hedge funds with portfolio management, trading, risk, analytics, compliance, and reporting. LayerOne was acquired by JPMorgan in 2024. Earlier in his career, Kyle founded EdgeTrade, an early innovator in electronic trading, which was acquired by Knight Capital (now Virtu). He later spent a decade as a fintech banker and venture investor.
Kyle's leadership is grounded in building client-centric cultures—where product decisions are driven by real workflow needs and long-term trust, not short-term optimization.
Kyle holds a B.S. from NYU's Stern School of Business and lives in New York City with his family.
Josh Zimmerman
CTO
Josh Zimmerman has spent his career designing systems at the intersection of investments, data, and technology. Before co-founding VRGL, Josh built and led the research and development organization at Solovis, where he helped deliver multi-asset risk analytics to institutional investors. His background spans buy-side and sell-side trading, portfolio management, and platform architecture, with experience navigating multiple market cycles, including the 2008 financial crisis.
At VRGL, Josh leads platform architecture and analytics development, with a focus on intuitive design that ensures the platform supports real advisory workflows without sacrificing institutional rigor.
Josh graduated from UC Berkeley and holds a master's degree from the City University of New York. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, three children, and dog.
Kevin Larkin
COO
Kevin Larkin serves as Chief Operating Officer at VRGL, overseeing the Product and Client Experience teams and driving firm-wide initiatives focused on efficient scaling and exceptional client satisfaction.
Prior to his current role, Kevin spent six years at Solovis Inc., where he held multiple leadership positions spanning professional services, software engineering, and client experience — playing a key role in scaling the organization while developing talent and delivering personalized guidance to top clients. Before Solovis, Kevin consulted for prominent cable and telecommunications companies, building mathematical models to identify target markets and presenting findings to support client decision-making.
Kevin holds a degree in Quantitative Finance from James Madison University and is based in Dallas, TX, where he lives with his wife and two young children.
Todd Buck
Head of Sales
Todd Buck brings more than three decades of experience driving growth and building high-performing sales organizations across wealth management, fintech, and data analytics.
Prior to VRGL, Todd served as Head of Wealth Sales at Envestnet Data & Analytics, leading go-to-market efforts for analytics and advisory solutions serving RIAs, asset managers, and broker-dealers. Earlier, he co-founded and scaled both Wheelhouse Analytics and Coates Analytics into successful enterprise analytics businesses before continuing his leadership in wealth technology as Chief Sales Officer at Income Discovery.
Todd's leadership is grounded in helping firms translate technology into measurable business outcomes, aligning sales execution with the real operating needs of advisors and enterprise wealth organizations.
Todd holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Rowan University and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA). He lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and their college-bound son.
Maddie Bauman
VP, Marketing & Revenue Growth
Maddie Bauman is VP of Marketing & Revenue Growth at VRGL, where she leads the company's go-to-market strategy and revenue growth initiatives across marketing and partnerships. She works closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to support client acquisition, expansion, and market positioning as VRGL scales across wealth management firms.
Maddie earned her MBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and joined VRGL in 2023. She lives in Dallas with her family.
Hayley Aiello
VP, Client Experience & Strategy
Hayley Aiello serves as Vice President of Client Experience and Strategy at VRGL, where she leads client implementation, training, support, and relationship management. In her role, she partners closely with strategic clients to represent their needs in product planning and development, ensuring VRGL's solutions continue to deliver meaningful value.
Hayley earned her bachelor's degree in Economics and English from the University of Virginia in 2020 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Commerce at UVA's McIntire School of Commerce in 2021.
She joined VRGL in early 2022 and is based in Columbus, Ohio, where she lives with her family.
